    Job Description:
    To operate and control all the accounting tasks using an Oracle based Financial Software Package and to generate necessary reports and prepare customized reports for the management on regular basis.

    Essential Functions:

    • Assists Financial Controller in implementing the Financial Software package (Oracle based system customized for Tameer needs).
    • Assists Financial Controller in developing and implementing financial accounting and management plans through necessary customized reports.
    • Assists Financial Controller in developing and implementing financial policies and procedures with respect to GL Accounting.
    • Ensuring timely & regular completion of daily operating control for the GL Accounting based on accurate, timely and relevant information.
    • Assists Financial Controller in Implementing Cost control measures through monitoring of expenses and preparing analytical reports esp., for recurring Office Overheads and Variable expenses.
    • Assists Financial Controller in preparation of all financial reports, including Profit & Loss Account, Balance Sheets, reports to shareholders, and reports for the Management.
    • Operating the accounting systems with high standards of accuracy, honesty and timeliness.
    • Manage and control the accounting function and closely coordinate with the internal audit function.
    • Ensure that proper and separate Accounting and Reporting is done for all the Projects and Tameer as an entity.
    • Ensure that all Reconciliations esp., of Banks, Accounts Receivable, Accounts Payable, Payroll and Projects Inventory of Sold & Unsold units etc. is accurately and timely prepared on a regular basis.
    • Prepares reports of Actual sales, collections, Expenses / Overheads and profit.
    • Ensure compliance to policy for capitalization. Maintain Fixed Assets register and calculate monthly depreciation entries.
    • Assist Financial Controller in yearly audit by performing adjustments at the year end and preparing schedules for auditors.

    Required Skills:

      a. Minimum Commerce Graduate preferably a partially qualified Accountant.
      b. Minimum 5 - 8 Years of experience in Accounting & Reporting.
      c. Must be computer literate; hands on experience of using Accounting Software package
